Aron Ra Joins FTB!

Well, this sucks. I was planning on cheating my diet a little by going out for pizza with the local freethinkers group on Thursday, a monthly occasion where we non-believers meet to enjoy dinner and be non-religious. These plans have been offended by Aron Ra's first entry in his new blog at Freethoughtblogs.com, Ace of Clades. That's right! Aron Ra has joined the likes of PZ Myers, The Atheist Experience, and other well-known atheist bloggers at FTB. This is exciting news.

Aron's first blog at FTB describes the aftermath of an encounter Aron endured at the 2012 Reason Rally in Washington D.C. earlier this year. He approached and engaged a pair of young theists who attended to rally to protest and promote Ray Comfort's 180 movie, a short documentary film of asshattery where Ray goes around "luntzing" people on the subject of abortion. Yes, "luntzing" a person is as dirty as it sounds. Aron eviscerated the theist protestors with form despite the abrupt, but celebrated, interruption by Thunderf00t himself. Now, Aron has announced that he will continue to engage one of the theists in an online discussion to convince him that Ray Comfort and other Christian apologists are lying deceivers and that evolution is true.

I convinced him to assist me in an experiment. I'm going to try a new approach in an attempt to reason with someone who has been conditioned to be unreasonable after lifelong indoctrination. That will be our second session which will probably take place next week. First he says he wants to ask me a series of questions. Doubtless they won’t be sincere inquiries. I predict they'll be the usual non-sequitors we always hear asked by those who hope their questions cannot be answered, as if lacking an answer might justify assumptions that would of course still be unwarranted regardless what the answer is. That part of our conversation will happen this Thursday, June 21st at 6:30pm Central time on my BlogTV channel. At that time, we will schedule the next session. I will also present him with a half dozen or so questions for him to mull over in the interim.

Looks like I'll have to skip my pizza and stick to my diet this week. I don't want to miss round 2 of Aron Ra's Pwn-a-thon.
